Needed: Partner Family for Ulster County Habitat for Humanity

Ulster County Habitat for Humanity is looking for a family to partner with us on Codwise Street in the Town of Ulster.  If you are interested and have a steady source of income, a low level of long-term debt, good credit and a willingness to put in sweat equity, you may be our next partner family.

To qualify, a family of 4 needs a steady income of at least $40,000.  A family of 3 would need a steady income of at least $36,000 and a family of 2 would need at least $32,000.  Furthermore, you need a good credit rating and a long-term monthly debt pay out amount of not more than $400-$600.  Long-term debt includes your auto payments, credit card debt, child support and alimony payments.

In addition, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be a resident of Ulster County or work here for at least one year
• Live in substandard housing at this time
• Put in a minimum of 250 hours of sweat equity
